Shakti Rupena Samsthita- Exhibition by Spriha Society (2022)
Welcome to Shakti Rupena Samsthita, a remarkable event that showcased the talent and resilience of cis-gender women, non-binary, and transgender entrepreneurs. We take pride in having organized a memorable exhibition cum sale, providing a platform for small businesses to shine, connect with customers, and build their networks. India is in a group of countries where women and members of LGBTQ+-led businesses struggle with less favorable conditions, pronounced cultural biases, and a lack of business resources such as finances, capital, training, and development.

Let's celebrate the accomplishments of the remarkable entrepreneurs who participated in last year's exhibition. With over 45 business owners joining us, we witnessed a diverse range of exquisite clothing and accessories, beautiful arts and crafts, mouth-watering food, and much more. Their passion and creativity made the event a resounding success.

While Shakti Rupena Samsthita has concluded, our commitment to supporting women entrepreneurs continues. Stay connected and be the first to know about upcoming events, workshops, and initiatives to empower small businesses.
Transforming Communities with Spriha's Awareness Session and Health Camp in Kolkata
Our non-profit organization recently conducted a series of events to support the residents of this community. First, we held an educational session for children about the changes that come with growing up. We talked about puberty and how the body changes during this period in our health initiatives in West Bengal.

We had an important discussion with the kids about consent, good and bad touch. We believe that it is critical to educate children on these topics in order to ensure their safety and well-being.
We held a menstruation education session for local girls. We believe it is critical to break the taboo surrounding menstruation and provide girls with reproductive health information and resources.

We also hosted a health camp that provided medical services for women and children living in and around the slum. We were fortunate to have a gynecologist visit to provide specialized care for women.
